Youth

The La Jolla UMC youth program is a place where youth 6th to 12th grade can form strong bonds and friendships, share and pray together, explore their faith, study scripture, ask questions, and HAVE FUN all in a structured, safe, positive and loving environment.  The various programs within youth ministry include weekly youth group, Youth Up Front Sunday school, camps and retreats, confirmation, service projects, volunteer opportunities and fun outings!

Youth Up Front Schedule

10:00 A.M. – Meet in Sanctuary and stay through the sermon.
Post Sermon – Head to the Youth Lounge for morning discussion
11:30 A.M. – End discussion and head down to the Olive Tree Patio for fellowship.

Youth Group

Youth Group participates in district-wide events throughout the year.  This allows youth to meet others their age from different UMC churches in the South District. They not only have fun together, but they also collaborate to transform communities.
