The La Jolla United Methodist Church is honored to host the West Point Glee Club for a concert in their sanctuary on Saturday afternoon, April 1, 2023 at 4:00 PM. Known for their dynamic choral sound, diversity of repertoire and national prominence, this outstanding organization has touched audiences around the world. The 2022 edition of our Christmas Workshop will take place Saturday, December 3rd from 10 am until 1 pm. There is still plenty of room for children, K through 6th grade. Volunteers are also needed including adults and youth. Please contact Sarilee at 858-459-4622 and/or by email at sanderson@ucsd.edu. La Jolla United Methodist Church Chancel Choir proudly presents its Summer Pops Concert on Friday, June 24, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. This year’s program is a concert version of the music from the popular production Les Miserables. La Jolla UMC is proud to host the Mission Bay High School Mambo Orchestra, a student-led performance group presenting traditional and dance music from Cuba, Puerto Rico and Latin American countries. This free concert begins on Sunday, March 20th at 4pm in the Sanctuary. Following a lively hour of latin jazz, we have invited a local taco truck to follow the concert. Campfire Connexions is a new non-traditional Worship experience that offers spirit-filled singing and meaningful conversation. With a focus on creating a safe space for authenticity, this is intended as a time to grow our spirituality in connecting and learning from each other.
