Rummage Sale Update

Please forgive the long silence regarding the rummage sale.  As most of you are aware, we were all set up to have our annual sale on March 14 and “pulled the plug” the Thursday before.  With the help of dedicated crew, we tore everything down and put it in storage, thinking we might be able to have a sale in the fall. Obviously, that is NOT going to happen.

At this point, we have no date in mind.  Since the majority of our workers—both in the preparation stages and on the day of the sale—are in the vulnerable population, we have put the rummage sale on indefinite hold.

Because our storage areas are full with items from the 2020 sale, WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING ANY RUMMAGE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

Believe me, this is as hard on the people who love putting on this sale  as it is on you.  We are grateful for your thinking of us when you have wonderful things to donate, but we need to refer to you Salvation Army and Father Joe’s and others who will also be grateful.

Please, please, please, do not bring things and drop them off thinking that you are being helpful.  We really do not have the space nor the personnel to deal with them at this time.

We are so sorry for the inconvenience, and as soon as we are able to accept donations, you will be the first to know!

Blessings
